Studio Hari starts up distribution arm

After 10 years in existence, Studio Hari announces the launch of its international distribution division, HARI INTERNATIONAL.

The subsidiary represents and delivers the new series produced by Studio Hari to a worldwide audience from its headquarters in Paris, France.

Josselin Charier, Studio Hari’s co-founder with Antoine Rodelet, comments :“Hari International’s objective is to build global and integrated brand, sales and marketing strategies by ensuring the optimum exploitation of all the TV, video and merchandising rights. It is a major step in our business development: the creation of Hari International will give us the opportunity to integrate all the activities related to our creations, from the artistic development to the commercial exploitation.”

In order to lead its development, Hari International is particularly happy to have Mrs Adeline Tormo joining the company as Head of Sales.
Tormo hails from Gaumont Animation, where she served as VP International Sales for 8 years.
“Studio Hari has managed to rise to the very top in terms of creativity and production amongst animation companies in Europe and I am particularly flattered to have been able to join their team to develop the distribution subsidiary, says Tormo. I believe that with our flair for new concepts and our understanding of the demands of the marketplace we will close many successful deals!”

Charier adds: “We are delighted to welcome Adeline’s expertise in animation and international sales and we are confident that her arrival will allow us to provide with international visibility to our productions.”

The first title Tormo will be offering is the promising “Grizzy and the lemmings” which has been picked up by Turner worldwide and France Télévisions. Otherwise, several projects in development will be launched at this year’s MIFA market in June.
