The Birds

It is not rare for Leon, whilst coming round a bush or a tree, to come across some black and white birds who are joyfully devoting themselves to some rather incongruous activities for the heart of the savannah. Is he the only one to see them? Is it the hunger which is gnawing at him which causes him to hallucinate or do these strange birds really have such bizarre behaviour, to which Leon is the only witness, sometimes blasé, sometimes curious?
